ODDITIES THEATER: In the Mouth of Madness (1994)

Alright, folks, it’s time! After a long week, it’s finally Saturday, and you know what we do on Saturdays, right? That’s right. We GET WEIRD.

Today, we’ll be getting weird with the master of weird himself, H.P. Lovecraft! As an added bonus, this film was directed by yet another master, John Carpenter, who gave us such weird classics as The Thing, Big Trouble in Little China, and They Live. I think you’re really going to dig today’s film.

In the past week, we saw the launch of the Doom Fiction newsletter on Substack, and the second issue will be going out later today. If you haven’t yet subscribed, do it now! The newsletter is free, with a couple options for upgrades. You can read all about that here.

I also posted a sneak peek at my next novel, Holus Bolus (the sixth book in The Bedlam Bible series), and you can check that out here.

Lastly, I wrote a new short story! It’s called “Heirs of the Abyss,” and VIP subscribers can read the entire first draft today.

Exciting stuff!

Now, let’s watch our feature presentation! Pop your popcorn (stovetop method recommended), pour your sugary soft drinks, pull back the wrappers on those Snickers bars and enjoy the show!

Until next time!
