It’s Saturday, and you know what that means, right? It’s time to… GET WEIRD.
Today we’ll be watching a low budget horror film from the early 2000s, The Gingerdead Man, starring Gary Busey. From the looks of it, it seems to be one of those “so bad it’s good” movies. I haven’t seen it yet though, so hopefully it’s not just a waste of time. 😬
Whatever… it’s weird, right? At least we’ll be getting an original story… I think? Unique characters… maybe? You know it’s a bad sign when everyone who worked on the film uses a goofy pseudonym. Just looking through the credits now. Hmmm. Yikes. Maybe this is a mistake?
But I’ve already written all of this! I can’t just turn back now and find something else. I’d have to write it all again. Change it so it’s relevant to the new film. I don’t have the time today. I mean, I enjoy digging through YouTube and tossing these little gems at your feet every Saturday, but today I came across this one fairly quickly and I just went with it. Why not? It’s October. It’s getting closer to Halloween. A cheesy horror film is more than appropriate. I’m standing by this decision. We’re watching The Gingerdead Man.
