Happy new year!

It’s been wild these last few months, getting Doom Fiction going again and putting all my work back into print. After twelve titles, I decided to take a short break to enjoy the holidays, but now it’s a new year and it’s time to get back to work.

So what will I be working on? Well, the first thing that’ll likely come out is the audiobook for White Fuzz. Connor Brannigan will be narrating. I loved his performance of Hearers of the Constant Hum, so I’m going to try to convince him to record as many of my books as he can stand, haha. That could come out as soon as the end of the month.

The next Doom Fiction title to be released will be The Tower, the first book of The Bedlam Bible. As soon as I can manage to get the cover design right, then it’ll be ready to go. Hoping to have that one out by February 2022. It’ll be available in hardcover and kindle formats.

After that, I’ll be releasing The Doom Magnetic Trilogy. I already have the new cover ready to go, just have to do all the interior work now. The cover features new artwork from the artist who did the original Doom Magnetic cover (back before it was a trilogy), the incredible Alexander T. Cardosi. Can’t wait to show you all, but that’ll come later. Hoping to have it out by March 2022. It’ll be available in hardcover, paperback, and kindle formats.

Zachary T. Owen and I (and friends) have recorded an audiobook version of The Naked Brunch. Production has completed, but there’s still some post-production work that needs to happen, so it’ll likely have a February 2022 release. We had a blast recording it.

The last thing I’ll announce here is a book that likely won’t come out until April 2022. The release of this book means a great deal to me because the events surrounding this book completely changed my life. As I was writing the final story for it, my computer crashed and I lost everything. I fell into a deep depression (not just over the book, but because of many things going on in my life at that time) and didn’t write anything new for a couple years—well, didn’t finish anything, I should say. It marked the end of a very prolific time in my life. I went from writing every single day to almost nothing. I was completely burned out. However I used this time to become mentally and physically healthy. I pulled myself out of my depression by focusing on bettering myself in any and every way possible. That was just over 4 years ago, and I feel I’ve come a long way. I’m finally ready to finish the project I started all those years ago: The Bedlam Bible. With that said, I’m happy to announce the third book is officially ready for release! Coming April 2022, in hardcover and kindle formats: The Astronaut Dream Book (formally known as Flicker).

So, I guess that’s all for now. Just wanted to give a quick update on some of the things I’m working on. I have my hands in a few other creative projects as well, but I’ll announce those once they’re closer to completion.

Stay safe out there, everyone! And as always, thank you for supporting Doom Fiction! Your support means the world to me. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Until next time,

WPIII
